Shira Frimer is an Expressive Arts Therapist (M.A.) and founder of the Cope Creatively Clinic, a safe space for creative expression and emotional healing in Rehovot, Israel. Shira is also the author of Nistar, a graphic novel about a superhero for children fighting cancer. She grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and made aliya in 1995. Shira is the proud mother of twin IDF soldiers serving in the Givati Brigade.

Jill Baker Shames, MSW has been teaching Okinawan Karate and Empowerment Self-Defense (ESD) for more than 25 years. She has trained an entire generation of ESD Instructors and is currently the Head Instructor for Heroes Circle/ Kids Kicking Cancer-Israel. Jill's life mission is to help students of all ages and segments of society discover their Inner Warrior and access the power of hope, meaning and "standing tall" in their daily lives.
