Thrivacious Challah Bake

An evening of fun and meaningful connection

THURSDAY JULY 19, 2018

19:00-21:30
MOSHAV HERUT

Spend an evening with fellow thrivers and supporters on a magical moshav. Taught by one of our own Thrivers, you will learn how to prepare and bake several types of Challah bread while sipping wine, noshing on snacks and hanging out with old and new friends.

You will leave this workshop with the knowledge and your own handmade dough to bake at home the next day for Shabbat. Gluten and dairy free options will be available upon request. The moshav is located just north of Ra'anana and is close to the Beit Yehoshua train station, from where Thrivacious will arrange pickups at a scheduled time.

This Thrivacious event is open to any woman touched by cancer (previvors, survivors, caregivers/supporters). The cost of the event is 35 NIS.

About the Facilitator

Judi Hetzroni
Thriver and Baking Expert

Even though she always enjoyed baking, Judi really got serious with her baking hobby while going through chemo and radiation after having tongue cancer surgery. She couldn't eat or speak, but baking something new every day got her out of bed and helped her through the depression and pain. Almost five years later and she still enjoys challenging herself and feeding others!
